Detox with Cilantro

A diet detox is a diet that is planned to help a type of treatment that requires elimination of waste or toxic materials out of the body. Maintaining a toxin-free body may lead to good health.
Chelation is the only way to remove metal toxins from the body. Medical science advocates the use of a synthetic chelate called EDTA. EDTA is administered to the patient intravenously. The synthetic amino acid then binds with the heavy metals in the body and aids with the excretion of said toxins.

Did you know the seed of the cilantro plant is known as coriander? It's a two-for-one: Both parts of the plant possess health-promoting qualities. While the seed can aid in digestion and help maintain normal cholesterol levels, the leaves are known to aid in the detoxification of certain heavy metals (like mercury and lead) that can accumulate in the body. Throw a handful of cilantros into salads and shakes or onto entrees as garnish.

A couple of tablespoons of fresh cilantro daily will do the trick in about three weeks. Cilantro also provides an overall blood and body cleanse. It increases liver function, helping the organ detoxify the blood and lymph fluids.
